Duniyadari... Movie Review
Tujhi
Majhi yari tar bh…. geli duniyaadari… the movie could have dig its own grave had
there not been good marketing/ publicity. They reached out to every prospective audience
by arranging events, visiting colleges, cinema halls and so forth and even
audience responded well.
As said by
Edwin Land “Marketing is what you do when your product is no good”. In this
case the movie is good but the success is fathered by publicity. There have
been many Marathi movies that are far better than this to name few Kaksparsh, Shwaas,
Zenda these movies holds upper hand in many aspects but still Duniyadari is creating new records for Marathi Cinema. Kudos to the team Duniyadari.
The strength of
this movie is its actors and actresses; Ankush Chaudhari, a typical college goon
which has its own group of punters, has acted well and steals the glory from
Swapnil Joshi the chocolate boy who is playing lead role; the story revolves
around him through his love life with actresses Sai Tamhankar and Urmila Kanitkar.
As title implies the whole movie is about Duniyadari… or Jugaad as one does to
help his/ her friend. Jitendra Joshi playing a villain added feather in his cap by his acting .
Screen play, Dialogues and Punches are excellent, full marks to the script
writer. Background score hits the bulls eye it supports the scene and guides the audience to feel its emotions.
Movie is too fast and lacks
the strong story line there are too many plots across the timeline. Story loses the grip
few times and fails to keep us engaged from start to end. The link between different
plots could have been more meaningful. There are unnecessary roles which could
have been avoided.
Music is cool with good song compositions viz Title song, Deva tujhya Gabharyala, tik tik vajate dokyat.
As a package the movie
is good. From box office collection per se the efforts of publicity has been
fruitful.Music is cool with good song compositions viz Title song, Deva tujhya Gabharyala, tik tik vajate dokyat.
