Can you know who visited your Facebook profile?

Facebook claims that you cannot track if someone has visited your profile neither there is any application that helps you track this but it is observed that may help you know if any particular person has visited your profile.

If you know someone in your social/ personal life or somebody in acquaintance that is neither in your friend list nor in mutual friends’ friend list, you can check if the person has visited your profile.

Let’s take an example – You know somebody ABC (first name) XYZ (last name) but s/he is neither in your friend list nor in mutual friends’ friend list, there is nothing common between both of you viz. school or company etc. that appears under the name of person in search list, you have not visited his/ her profile in past and s/he has visited your profile recently then if you type ABC XYZ in search bar on Facebook page this person may appear in top search result.

Exception to above case could be if the person is unique or famous personality on Facebook viz. Celebrity.

Observation would fail if you have visited the person’s profile, you have a mutual friend, you do a wild search or if person has not visited your profile. It is an indicative list of criteria which can be extended.

I do not claim it to be true but a thought provoking experiment indeed. It is a possibility which is not proved yet but you can try and share if you observe the same.
